Franklin W.O. Campbell

He is presently Building Project Coordinator of the Bar Executive.He is also the Treasurer of the building committee of the bar.
Called to the Bar in 2012 and served a period of pupillage under O.V Robin-Mason,Former Director of Public Prosecution and is an associate of RobinMason and partners, a firm of Solicitors and Advocates .Franklin’s legal career started at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)where he started as a Financial Crimes Investigator and then a Prosecutor, all spanning nearly a decade.He is currently the Head of Operations of Sierra Leone’s Financial Intelligence Unit(FIU).
Franklin has appeared as trial Counsel in major corruption trials throughout Sierra Leone and has attended many training courses on the areas of corruption, money laundering and terrorist Financing.
He holds degrees in accounting and law from Fourah Bay College and a Master of Forensic Accounting from Sheffield-Hallam University in the United Kingdom.
His research interests include Criminal Litigation,Prosecutions,Effectiveness of Anti corruption and AML regimes. Franklin is a choirster and is Legal adviser of St Philips Church Parish Council and lay representative of his church to the Anglican Synod.He is married with three kids.
